Kristen Ford is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, third-generation trouble maker, and bridger of the gap between worlds. She was raised by a white mother, and a black father, a lifelong singer. At age 14 Ford picked up an acoustic guitar and started writing songs, followed by attending a rock n roll camp for girls, led by musical icon June Millington. Coming out at age 18, navigating life as a biracial, queer girl was made all the more interesting by yearly moves (not an army brat, but a higher education brat) where Ford had lived in 6 states by age 18. Following in her grandmother's lead, who played the organ professionally since the age of 13 (the one-man band of the 1940s), Ford uses her hands, feet, and mouth to layer vocals, affected guitar, and beatboxing into a lush and energetic live looping show.

With 1500+ performances across 48 states and 8 countries at festivals, colleges, clubs, cafes, and dives, music is Ford's true love, with 5 full-length records to date, including her latest and first on vinyl, "War in the Living Room". Off the road, Ford has worked jobs diverse as vegan hot dog factory, wyoming wrangler, boston sound tech, TV show extra, mascot/clown assistant, plus every restaurant position imaginable. Ford's Every(wo)man aesthetic, combined with unflinching honesty, vocals growling like a V8 engine, and virtuosic guitar skills (endorsed by Gallagher Guitars, K&K pickups, G7th Capos) have placed Kristen Ford on the verge of greatness.

“Amazing, she was great; Kristen Ford” -Ani DiFranco, Billboard podcast

"Elevates Indie Rock" -Boston Herald

"Pure Rock N Roll screaming with childish joy" -The Deli

A little whimsical, clearly influenced by songwriting greats without losing her unique character, and offbeat enough to always have a bit of an edge." - Worcester Telegram

After years of relentless touring and over 1500 shows, March 2020 brought an abrupt end to the party. That summer she recorded "No Plans EP" produced by Rachael Moore (Robert Plant, Allison Kraus, Martina McBride). Invited to create songs for the derby horror film "Valentine Crush". Speaking lines, skating stunts and doing two music videos for the film, Ford decided becoming an actor was her next big adventure. She has since provided music for film and TV soundtracks and frequents Atlanta for screen roles. Her 5th full-length record "War in the Living Room" was produced by her mentor June Millington and Brett Bullion (Now, Now, Lizzo) and made possible by a $20,000 crowdfunding campaign. Her first LP pressed to vinyl, it was released on 11/11/21 and has received airplay on WNXP, Lightning 100, been critics pic of the week (indie shark). Single "Broke Stoned & 23" premiered on Telegram.com

"Acoustically brooding one moment, explosive and epic the next" — Ft Stockton Pioneer

"In the best possible way a genre train wreck, mixing the styles of reggae, indie, folk and disco into a frenetic musical fold. Pretend that Ani Difranco and Bob Marley had a child that goes bar hopping with Isaac Brock and you’ll have a pretty good idea of Ford’s sonic journeys" - City Pages

Jeanine Renée is an Americana singer, songwriter and poet from Paonia, Colorado. She fell in love the first time one of her poems grew melodic wings and took flight. Jeanine’s lyrics have been described as ‘raw with grace’, transporting the listener to a place that ‘defies time’.

Growing up exploring the Allegheny backwoods and ponds of their 114 acre homestead in Western New York, Jeanine was always wandering and singing. Though she left to experience further adventures, it is evident in her music that the soul of her home runs deep within her.

After studying Performing Arts in Texas, Colorado and NYC, Jeanine returned to ‘the quiet’ and settled down to raise a family and sheep on a farm in Wisconsin, ultimately moving to the mountains of Colorado. Jeanine’s resonate, soulful voice bears witness to the life lived and woven together through powerful, vulnerable lyrics. Her live performance is honest and peppered with stories, humor and her infectious laugh.

Her album, Tell Me True, written by Jeanine and produced by Jackson Emmer is now available.
